Really enjoyed our visit to El Mezcal! We came in on Sunday afternoon and it wasn’t busy at all. The service was great — our water was always full, and we never had to wait for chips and salsa.
We ordered the Chipotle Shrimp and the Shrimp Chimichangas, and for the chimichangas we tried them soft instead of fried. That was a different way to have them, but they were very, very good! Everything was super flavorful with a nice smoky chipotle flavor without being overly spicy. The cheese sauce on the shrimp chimichangas was especially good.
I also really enjoyed the guacamole, and it was a nice bonus that it was included with the chimichangas. Both dishes were $19.99, which I thought was a great value for the quality and portion.
